You obviously read the transcript of Joe Kinnear's interview. Think it was stupid of him to react to it, if not that surprising. But look at how the media make such a big deal out of it. What difference does it make, really? It's all over Sky News today. It's hardly ground-breaking stuff. Alex Ferguson pulls stunts like these all the time. I'm waiting for Big Phil to blow up as well: two big injuries to his squad so far this season - it's coming.
All the opening lines are great by the way. Also a fan of "This is a diary of hate" in The End of the Affair.
The whole thing is ridiculous. Especially the media reaction, although I think they're luxuriating in being the wronged party in this case.
I just love the idea that he clearly planned his entry and opening lines, and that was what he came up with.
